Proposal Engineer/Estimator
Equity Staffing Group
Equity Staffing Group is seeking a Proposal Engineer / Estimator to support the sales team by developing competitive proposals, preparing cost estimates, reviewing technical specifications, and coordinating with cross-functional teams on engineered projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical proposals, bids, and cost estimates
- Review customer specifications and contract requirements
- Coordinate labor, material, and freight estimates
- Support Business Development with proposal strategies and customer meetings
- Assist with project handoffs and technical documentation
- Maintain proposal databases and support forecasting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (or strong math/science background)
- 0–5 years of experience in proposal management, project management, or application sales
- Experience with technical or engineered products
- Strong communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills
Preferred:
- Experience with capital or engineered products
- Knowledge of contract/commercial terms
- Cooling tower industry experience
