Learn more by applying today!You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive financial forecasts and analysisRefresh and tie-out monthly, quarterly and annual financial data models in ExcelThis includes but not limited to monthly actuals, forecast models and budget filesManage and refresh monthly variance reports and workforce rostersContribute to team initiatives and reporting needs as requestedBuild proforma analysis for new business casesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications4+ years of financial and/or accounting experienceProficient with Microsoft Excel as well as other Office applicationsSolid communication skills with proven ability to relay financial findings in a clear and concise mannerSkilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing workloadSolid analytic skills with large data setsSolid research and analysis skillsSolid attention to detailsProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight financial deadlinesDemonstrated ability to work autonomously on special projectsMust be able to work in Pacific Time ZonePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance or AccountingPeopleSoft and SmartView/Essbase experienceAnalyzing and reviewing accounting journal entries experience or knowledgeHealthcare Finance experience or knowledgeAll employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyThe salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
