Part time Receptionist

We are in search of an energetic, diligent, amiable, responsible individual to serve on our administrative team. As a receptionist, you will be responsible to operate a multi-line telephone system to transfer calls to appropriate personnel, answer fundamental questions pertaining to the company, as well as complete a variety of administrative duties. Such as but not limited to assisting families with questions, assisting with orientation materials, assisting management with day-to-day assignments. The right person will assist during the week and possibly a rotating weekend shift. RESPONSIBILITIES Retrieve messages from voicemail and forward to appropriate personnel. Answer incoming calls, determine purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department. Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. Notify company personnel of visitor arrival. Maintain security and telecommunications system. Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories. Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges when/if needed. Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. SKILLS Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills. Must be criminally cleared through background check performed by community. Must be detail-oriented. Must be able to handle stressful situations. Experience preferred but not required. Basic computer skills. Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards. Respectful and compassionate. Good time-management skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ethics. Physical endurance.
