Summary Seeking Registered Nurse! Part-Time, Days (7A‑7P) – Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care, Sellersburg. Job Duties In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on‑shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co‑workers in an ER/Urgent Care setting. About the Department This hybrid emergency room and urgent care provides both types of care to patients under one roof. Patients receive the appropriate level of care in a simple, cost‑effective one‑stop location. The emergency room operates 24/7 with transport services available for high‑acuity cases needing surgery. Nurses at this location will have background or training in emergency care, and on‑site imaging and laboratory services are also available. Qualifications Graduate of an approved nursing program. Current Indiana or compact state RN license. BLS for Healthcare Provider required. PALS required within 12 months of hire. ACLS required within 12 months of hire. NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire. Previous ER experience preferred.
