Multi-Skilled Journalist Responsibilities: Pitch engaging, exclusive, source-driven stories. Identify, write, and produce stories under deadline. Perform authoritative, active, and compelling live shots on linear broadcasts and streaming. Meet and develop sources to help you pitch stories that beat the competition. Write solid scripts based on strong reporting, research, and documentation. Write web stories and produce mobile shorts tailored specifically for our digital platforms. Attend editorial meetings and offer story ideas daily. Write in an exciting, captivating, and authentic manner. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience 3-5 years reporting experience preferred. Documented ability to shoot video, light subjects, collect clean sound, and edit under deadline. Must possess solid news judgment, strong communication skills, creativity, and ethical decision‑making skills. Strong writing and production skills. ENPS, EDIUS, and Axis graphics experience is preferred. Must be organized with the ability to work under constant deadlines. Must be able to calmly handle live breaking news situations and changing events. Proven social and digital content creation ability. Speaking a second language is a plus. This position is full‑time, hourly, and Union represented.
