Who are we looking for? We are looking for a CMM Programmer to create and improve CMM programs to evaluate dimensional conformance of parts. This position is responsible for working with internal and external customers to ensure we can measure complex aerospace parts in an accurate and repeatable way. What you get to do! Writes fixed‑bed CMM programs to execute complex inspections Works with Quality Engineers and Design Engineers to ensure inspections are appropriate for customer and internal requirements Continuously improves inspection processes Plans and accurately executes First Article Inspections in coordination with Quality Engineers and Technicians Ensures quality technicians are accurately executing inspection plans Advises engineering on tolerancing and inspection methods throughout design and development process Acts as subject matter expert for GD & T What you will bring to the team Minimum of associate’s degree in engineering or a similar technical field and 1+ years of CMM programming experience OR 5+ years of CMM programming experience Demonstrated expertise with coordinate measurement machines and associated software (PC‑DMIS preferred) Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and acceptance test procedures, including full knowledge of reading geometric dimensioning and tolerancing Experience operating within an AS9100 and ISO9001 facility ASQ Certified Quality Inspector a plus The BIG payoff We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.
