Business Associate, Temporary Placement, Sleep Lab, Full Time, Day

Temporary Assignment Notice This position is a temporary placement with an anticipated duration of 3–6 months. The assignment length is tentative and may be adjusted based on departmental needs. Position Summary Support the Outpatient Care Center, Centralized Department, and patient by providing a variety of services including: Registration Scheduling Admitting Database management Information processing Patient/department support Materials/inventory management Education/development Unit‑specific tasks Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of formal business/medical training preferred. Completion of BA training program required. Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification preferred. Experience At least 3 to 6 months experience as a Business Assistant or equivalent experience. Computer Experience Knowledge of a Windows environment. Previous customer service experience required. Medical office experience required. Skills Effective communication, writing, and proper spelling and grammar. Effective interpersonal skills to work with co‑workers and other staff members. Effective critical thinking skills, including analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, prioritizing, and time management. Ability to pay attention to details, handle task switching without loss of efficiency or composure. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Typing/keyboarding 30wpm minimum.
