Job Description

Perform essential housekeeping duties within the hospital, including cleaning bathrooms, patient beds, and maintaining a hygienic environment throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, operating rooms, public areas, and bathrooms to prevent the spread of infections.

• Ensure a clean and hygienic environment in operating rooms, public areas, and bathrooms.

• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials.

• Perform comprehensive disinfection of areas where patients with contagious diseases have been treated.

• Maintain an orderly and pristine environment to enhance the experience of patients, guests, and staff.

Essential Skills

• Basic knowledge of English.

• Skills in janitorial and cleaning tasks.

• Ability to provide good customer service.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No experience needed!

• Experience in roles such as fast food service, receptionist, or security officer may be beneficial.

Work Environment

Work within a hospital setting. Shifts are from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Saturdays and Sundays, with the option to extend hours to 3:30 PM. You can work up to 32 hours per weekend. Training is provided Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for one week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cambridge, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
