A-Tech Automotive Technician
North Country Chevrolet Buick GMC — Hibbing, MNFamily-owned Chevrolet GMC dealership looking for an experienced A-Tech to join our service department.
Pay
$52,000–$165,000+ per year depending on your performance.Flat-rate with incentive pay. Strong A-Techs land in the upper range. Tool allowance included.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair GM vehicles at an A-Tech level — engines, transmissions, driveline, steering/suspension, electrical, HVAC, and drivability
- Handle advanced diagnostics, emissions, and intermittent concerns — not just menu work
- Use factory scan tools, service information, and proper repair procedures
- Complete accurate, timely repair orders and communicate findings clearly to advisors
- Keep your stall organized and work as part of the shop team

What we’re looking for
- Proven A-level or master-level technician experience (dealership preferred)
- Strong diagnostic skills on late-model vehicles
- Comfortable with electrical and computer-controlled systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean enough record to drive customer vehicles
- Own basic tools; we support the rest
- Team player who takes pride in doing the job right the first time
GM experience and ASE certifications are a plus. We’ll train the right technician who already works at an A-Tech level.
