Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines._ **Up to $15,000 Sign-on Bonus and $3,000 Relocation Assistance available to eligible candidates (see terms below)** _Terms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation_ Sign-on Eligibility: + One (1) year of applicable experience + Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible Relocation Eligibility: + Must live 50 miles outside of campus address + Rehires that are less than 12 months from separation date are not eligible **Schedule:** Full-time, 36 hours per week **Primary Job Responsibilities:** + Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. + Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. + Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. + Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. + Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. + Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Organizational and multi-tasking skills + Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures + Ability to work as a Team player within a unit + Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills + EKG competency + Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills) + Basic computer skills - must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs + Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes **Education:** + Associate's of Nursing [Required] + Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred] **Work Experience:** + 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred] **Licenses and Certifications:** + Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] + Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] + Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required] + Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required] **Physical Requirements:** _(Please click the link below to view work requirements)_ Physical Requirements - **Pay Range:** $31.53 - $52.24 **Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)** Certain positions are subject to **Florida Level 2 background screening** , including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
