Lupo Notte Dishwasher Position

Southern Hospitality Company, an entity of Southern Land Company, is headquartered in Nashville, TN and is seeking a dishwasher to open our new Italian restaurant, Lupo Notte. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, in a fast-paced work environment.

The Dishwasher involves cleaning and sanitizing kitchenware and equipment, emptying trash, and maintaining a clean work area. Key responsibilities include scraping, rinsing, and loading dishes into a dishwasher, hand-washing pots and delicate items, and putting away clean dishes and utensils. Dishwashers also perform other cleaning and sanitation tasks, and may assist with basic food preparation.

Essential Duties:

• Washing and sanitizing: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils using a commercial dishwasher or by hand.
• Loading and unloading: Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into the machine, and unload and put away clean items in their proper storage locations.
• Maintaining cleanliness: Keep kitchen floors swept and scrubbed and ensure all equipment and work areas are clean and orderly.
• Waste disposal: Remove trash from bins and clean them as needed.
• Supply management: Maintain the correct amounts of detergents and rinse agents and report any issues with the dishwashing machine to a Chef/Sous Chef.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience working in a restaurant preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Works in non-weather high temperatures.
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance
