Registered Nurse Infusion - Intravenous Therapy N

Job Title

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Treatment varies. We see routine antibiotics, blood transfusions, basic infusions, lab work and sometimes apheresis procedures.

Nurse to Patient Ratio: Ratio varies based on number of patients, staff, and service being provided. It can be 1:1 for patients that require apheresis. The highest should be about 1:6.

Charting: Cerner

Scrub Color: Blue-Navy

Areas of Float Support: We support all units at the Newark campus for apheresis. When we are open during normal business hours we perform inpatient therapeutic phlebotomy for all units.

Special Procedures: Apheresis, therapeutic phlebotomy
