Helpdesk Program Manager

Title: Helpdesk Program Manager (3 days per week onsite)
Client: Financial Services Client
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Waltham, MA (2-3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 6-12-month contract to hire (CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING/ABLE TO CONVERT TO AN EMPLOYEE AFTER CONTRACT PERIOD)
Rate: $75/hr. (conversion salary -$180K or so)
Interview Process:
POSIITON DESCRIPTION
v Working with a project sponsor and/or product owner, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific Helpdesk programs/projects , ensuring consistency with the company's strategy, commitments, and goals. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
• Strategize, implement, and maintain enterprise program initiatives to meet organizational objectives
• Work closely with business sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for the program
• Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
• Manage and provide oversight for work product from any 3rd party service providers
• Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Build consensus with senior cross-department stakeholders
• Develop program/project plans and manage to them
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
• Concurrently manage a large program or multiple large projects
Core Strengths and Skill REQUIRED
• 10+ years of program/project management experience
• PMP
• Experience managing large and complex multi-year programs
• Experience with Agile and Traditional methodologies
• Strong, clear communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
• Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Financial services industry experience
• Business analysis experience would be a plus

- 2nd round video/phone call with Head of PMO.
- Between 1st and 2nd, will receive employee onboarding application (includes background check and references)
- 3rd round will more than likely be onsite.
