Warehouse ManagerOsborn Richmond - Richmond, IN 47374Position Type Full TimeDescriptionEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage a team of production workers and support staff in day-to-day warehouse/shipping and receiving operations, including safety, quality, on-time order delivery, and continuous improvementsEnsure all safety rules, regulations, and programs are followed by staff; audit and address all departmental safety hazards, equipment and guarding malfunctions, and personal safety violationsMonitor stock levels and shipment orders; enter inventory and shipment transactions into computerized systems and maintain inventory accuracy; respond to shipment/order inquiriesDrive standardized work as applicable to assigned areaEmploy Lean and Six Sigma concepts and practices; conduct Kaizen events; drive 5S activities and visual managementTrain staff on new and existing work assignments, machinery, tools, and processes consistent with the organization's quality systems and documented standard workPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on standard KPIs (on-time delivery, shipments inventory, headcount, etc.), payroll approvals, safety, and continuous improvement projectsOther tasks as requiredQualificationsPosition RequirementsBachelor's degree in logistics or related field strongly preferred, or a minimum of five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment; management experience preferredStrong emphasis on state and local safety regulations, safety compliance, and trainingExperience in leading Lean/Kaizen activities is strongly preferredWork experience in TPS/or similar environment a plusVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and a sense of urgencyAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
