About thejob We are looking for an additional part-time Showroom Assistant to join our growing New York team. The ideal candidate is a passionate, dependable, confident, and trusted client advisor with a knowledge and enthusiasm for sales. Someone who takes initiative, has experience in the luxury retail market, and strong communication skills will be successful in this position. This position will require a combination of weekday and weekend availability. Responsibilities: Confidently work the sales floor, selling to customers and sharing the Norwegian Wool story. Respectfully assist customers and communicate special features with a strong understanding of the products and brand. Establish a welcoming and approachable luxury environment. Assist customers in person and over the phone. Assist in carefully packing up shipments for e-commerce orders. Maintain product displays neatly and in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Help with product & supplies inventory checks. Assist with various showroom errands. Qualifications: Retail experience selling clothing (preferred). Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (required). Available to work a flexible schedule (required). Knowledge of fashion and luxury fashion. Ability to reliably commute to Manhattan, 5th Ave location (required). The schedule will include at least one day each weekend.
