Host

Host team members are responsible for cooperatively working with all team members to consistently provide guests with "Outrageous" service. Host staff are responsible for seating guests, managing wait lists, informing guests of Purple Cow offerings, presenting guests with menus and other sales materials in a friendly, enthusiastic manner with a smile. Purple Cow host staff should have the ability to work positively in a high paced, team environment.

Key areas of responsibility include maintaining a clean station, greeting and seating of guests, rolling silverware, answering phones, taking guest's To-Go orders over the phone, and organizing wait lists.

Communicates with bus staff, soda jerk, servers, and management.

Qualifications include a strong sense of guest service and urgency, good organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to stay focused on tasks, guest relations, ability to work with others, and ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Compensation: $11/hour and up, based on experience.

Purple Cow has been serving "The Young of All Ages" in Central Arkansas since 1989. The Purple Cow is a 50s-style, full-service diner delighting customers with gourmet burgers, specialty sandwiches, delicious entrée salads and old-fashioned soda fountain treats. We serve ice cream from Arkansas' own Yarnell's Premium Ice Cream. Quality is key to us. All of our soups and sauces, most of our dressings and our award-winning cheese dip and chili are homemade.

We pride ourselves in consistently serving food of the highest quality. We are famous for our hamburgers and milkshakes, but offer much more, such as, specialty salads, grilled sandwiches, homemade soup, chili, and cheese dip, just to name a few. All of our guests receive Outrageous Service, meaning we go above and beyond to meet all of their needs. We provide all of this in a clean, organized, and FUN environment. Our ultimate goal is to give our guests a one of a kind experience that will leave a lasting impression, and encourage them to become a lifelong fan.
