CRT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Nights

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician working night shifts in a well-established regional medical center serving the Southeast United States. This role involves delivering comprehensive respiratory care services following departmental protocols, responding promptly to resuscitation and respiratory emergencies, and maintaining accurate patient and departmental documentation.

Education

Must hold a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license recognized by the state respiratory care board. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Experience and Requirements

• Obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials within 36 months of hire to continue employment.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and current respiratory care techniques.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations while interacting professionally with patients, colleagues, and visitors.
• Knowledge of psychosocial, physiological, and spiritual needs across all age groups, from infants to adults, to provide appropriate care and interventions.
• Effective oral communication skills, manual dexterity for equipment operation, visual acuity, and physical stamina to stand, walk, position patients, and move heavy equipment as needed.
• Willingness to work in environments with potential exposure to blood and other infectious materials.
