Strategic Finance Lead

Randstad is supporting a premier global firm who is looking for a sharp, autonomous professional to join their highly visible, project-based Strategic Analysis team in either Los Angeles or Irvine, CA.

In this role, you will act as a critical internal consultant, partnering directly with finance leaders and business units to drive quantitative modeling and qualitative analysis that directly informs major capital allocation decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with senior leaders, finance executives, and cross-functional business partners to support firm-wide strategic planning and inform high-stakes capital allocation decisions.
• Manage a dynamic pipeline of 2 to 3 projects simultaneously, scaling focus independently when executing single, high-intensity strategic initiatives.
• Translate complex financial, quantitative, and qualitative data into clear, compelling memos and presentations for executive and business unit audiences.
• Lead high-impact corporate initiatives, such as assessing regional market expansions (e.g., evaluating emerging Asian markets) and analyzing critical vendor/partner relationships (e.g., maximizing financial and operational efficiency with networks like Visa).

What You Will Do (Day-to-Day)

• Conduct robust financial analysis and quantitative modeling to evaluate business performance and guide long-term strategic objectives.
• Author detailed qualitative memos that blend financial rigor with strategic commentary to guide business unit leaders.
• Collaborate across the organization via structured, cross-functional meetings to align project workflows with overall operational goals.
