The Airport Engineer serves as a project engineer on multiple airport projects, leading planning, design, and delivery of airport infrastructure. This role focuses on projects in Nebraska and Iowa and offers strong growth within a collaborative environment

• Lead design and technical deliverables for ~15–20 airport projects annually
• Develop construction documents, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD/MicroStation
• Analyze technical data to support planning and design decisions
• Coordinate with clients, agencies (FAA/DOT), and internal teams
• Observe construction to ensure compliance with plans and specs
• Apply engineering judgment to solve design and planning challenges
• Utilize GIS (ArcGIS) for planning and documentation

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering; PE license required
• 1–5 years of airport or civil engineering experience (consulting preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation ; familiarity with ArcGIS a plus
• Experience with FAA/DOT standards
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

This is a Permanent position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
