Join Our Dynamic Surgical Team as a Certified Surgical Tech (CST)!

Job Description:


- Are you ready to elevate your surgical career?
- We seek an experienced Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to join our fast-paced Operating Room team!
- Your expertise in diverse surgical procedures will play a critical role in patient care and surgical excellence.

Responsibilities:


- Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including:
- General OR
- Gastric bypass, Sleeve, and Lap band
- Aortic Aneurysm Repair
- Carotid Angioplasty and Endarterectomy
- Endovascular Aneurysm Repair
- Femoral popliteal bypass graft
- Direct Laryngoscopy, Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy
- Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon Resection (Open/LAP and Hernia Repair)
- Gynecological Procedures (Laparoscopic Assisted)
- Spinal Procedures (Laminectomy, Fusion, Discectomy)
- Orthopedic Surgeries (Total Hip/Knee Replacement, Carpal Tunnel Release)
- Robotic and Colorectal Surgeries
- Urological Procedures (Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Ureteroscopy)

- Maintain a sterile environment:
- Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization processes
- Adherence to Aseptic Technique
- Sharps Safety and Specimen Handling
- Universal Protocol (Time out Procedure)

- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:


- Must have CST certification.
- 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to work 5x8 mid shifts (15:00 - 23:00).
- Call requirement: 6 shifts every 8-week period, including weekends and holidays.
- Epic experience preferred.

Additional Information:


- Scrubs are provided.
- Locals are not accepted; candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility.
- First-time travelers are not accepted.
