Description: Inpatient rehab unit with 17 beds and 9 core staff members. Patient to nurse ratio is 6:1. Day shift consists of a charge nurse, 2 RNs, and a Patient Care Technician. Night shift consists of a charge nurse, 2 RNs, and a Patient Care Technician. Type of equipment includes lifting equipment. Electronic Medical Record system used is Meditech. Candidates with rehab experience and Meditech experience will be prioritized. Typical procedures performed are similar to those in medical-surgical settings. Ideal candidates should possess a great attitude, teamwork skills, and good time management. Weekend shifts involve alternating weekends. Unit policies and guidelines are guided by ICARE values.
