Lawn Technician Assistant
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a  Lawn Technician Assistant for a company based in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will assist lawn care technicians in the field with aerating residential and commercial lawns, loading and unloading equipment, preparing job sites, and helping ensure each service is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Pay Rate
$20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday; schedule may vary based on route, weather, and seasonal lawn care needs

Lawn Technician Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist lawn care technicians with aerating lawns at residential and commercial properties.
• Load, unload, and carry aeration equipment, tools, seed, and other lawn care materials to and from service vehicles.
• Help prepare lawns for aeration by identifying work areas, moving light obstacles, and following technician instructions.
• Operate or assist with walk-behind aeration equipment as directed, following all company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, service vehicle, and equipment throughout the day.
• Provide courteous customer service while working on job sites and represent the company in a professional manner.

Lawn Technician Assistant Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous lawn care, landscaping, outdoor labor, or equipment experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite or designated meeting location.
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and willingness to follow directions from lead technicians.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all equipment and job-site safety protocols.

Full-time, temp-to-hire
