Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed pharmacist position is available to provide essential retail pharmacy services in Winamac, IN. This contract role requires a dedicated professional with experience in retail pharmacy settings, able to accurately process prescriptions and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill prescriptions and verify technician-prepared products prior to release
- Maintain strict security protocols for the pharmacy and controlled substances
- Enter orders and patient information with high attention to detail
- Utilize PioneerRx system for order entry (experience preferred)
- Support weekend coverage every other Saturday from 9am to 6pm
Qualifications:
- Indiana pharmacist license in good standing is required
- Proven experience in retail pharmacy preferred
- Proficient in handling controlled substances and pharmacy security measures
- Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy software is advantageous
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm
- Weekend shifts every other Saturday, 9am to 6pm
