Locum Physician OB/GYN Ontario, OR Details Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Physician OB/GYN Location: Ontario, OR Facility Type: Hospital Location Type: Rural Shift: 24-hour pager call (minimum 7 consecutive days), with clinic and night call coverage as needed Start Date: September 7, 2026 End Date: Ongoing Position Overview Patient Population: Obstetric and Gynecologic patients Practice Setting: Hospital with outpatient clinic coverage Responsibilities: Provide full-scope OB/GYN care including labor and delivery, gynecologic consults, ED GYN coverage, outpatient clinic coverage, and night call as needed. Perform deliveries during clinic hours when applicable. Required Procedures: Full-scope OB/GYN, vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, gynecologic procedures, emergency GYN consults EMR System: Epic Support Staff: 10-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) unit, 2-bed newborn nursery, NICU Level I Coverage Needed: Full-time coverage with a minimum of 7 consecutive shifts per month (10+ consecutive shifts preferred) Call Requirements: 24-hour pager call, weekends included, low call-back volume, clinic and night call coverage as needed Requirements Board Certified in OB/GYN Active Oregon License, Active IMLC, or Licensing Candidate DEA and CSR BLS Certification Provider must be able to cover at least 7 consecutive shifts per month Proof of COVID-19 vaccination Clean malpractice and background history NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) GYN case logs required Local candidates highly preferred
