Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant II on behalf of our client to support a busy, patient-focused dental practice. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working chairside in a fast-paced clinical environment while ensuring excellent patient care and efficient office flow.

Key Responsibilities

Assist dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories according to infection control standards
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
Perform expanded duties permitted under DA II certification (as applicable by state regulations)
Prepare materials for restorations, impressions, and temporary crowns
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in patient charts
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
Support front office or lab tasks as needed to maintain workflow

Qualifications

2+ minimum of experience
Active Dental Assistant II certification
Current radiography certification
CPR/BLS certification
Previous clinical dental assisting experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of dental Dentrix software and digital charting preferred

Work Schedule

Monday – Thursday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: $47,160 - $57,740 Annual
