About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Solar Construction to join their team. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and strategic leader with a commitment to clean energy. Responsibilities for this role include overseeing the end-to-end execution of solar projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality and safety standards. The VP of Solar Construction will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and scaling the company's EPC capabilities to meet the demands of the renewable energy market. This involves project management, team leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, risk management, budget oversight, and maintaining quality assurance and safety standards. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the EPC space, with a preference for those with experience in utility-scale or distributed generation solar. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is required, and a Master's degree is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering solar EPC projects, extensive experience in project management, and in-depth knowledge of solar energy technologies, EPC processes, and industry best practices. Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively.
