Pallet Quality Coordinator

Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full time Pallet Quality Coordinator at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Manufacturing and construction positions pay weekly.

Hourly Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: 3rd shift Friday - Sunday 4:30AM - 3:00PM and Monday 4:30PM - 3:00AM

Products being handled: Pallets

Equipment: Palamatic Machine and Rolling Line

Various construction, building, carpentry, manufacturing, warehouse, skilled and semi-skilled labor roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

Requirements

• Associate's degree preferred
• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in food grade facility
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain good manufacturing practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain quality to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet customer, state and federal guidelines
• Other duties as required or assigned
