Join our team as a Contract Logistics 2nd Shift Quality Inspector at our aerospace facility located in Union City, Georgia. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm, with a competitive pay rate of $28.71 per hour plus additional shift differential compensation. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for performing detailed inspections by determining appropriate methods, operations, sequences, and setups. Prior quality experience in the aerospace or automotive industries will be considered a valuable asset for this role.

How you create impact

Duties and Responsibilites 

• You will review documents when applicable to determine acceptance or non-acceptance
• Produce inspection reports and corrective action requests
• Report quality findings or problems to Quality Manager and follow up to ensure corrective actions are complete
• Maintain record of inspections and prepare list of defects
• Work with all departments to ensure compliance with specification
• Participate in team development including quality and continuous improvement program

What we would like you to bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of related experience
• Interpret blueprints and understand Geometric Dimension and Tolerance
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards
• Understand basic concepts of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent
• Applicants must hold US citizenship.
