Position Overview

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide mobile X-ray and, when applicable, EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other patient care locations throughout the service area.

This role offers competitive hourly pay, shift differentials, benefits, independent fieldwork, and opportunities to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.

- Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at healthcare facilities and other designated locations.

- Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically accurate images for radiologist interpretation.

- Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists for interpretation.

- Complete and scan examination-related paperwork and billing documentation according to established procedures.

- Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, healthcare facility staff, and colleagues.

- Maintain professional relationships with patients, clients, and healthcare professionals.

- Maintain the assigned vehicle and imaging equipment.

- Follow applicable radiation safety, patient care, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Current ARRT certification and required California radiologic technologist licensure.

- Valid California driver's license in good standing.

- Ability to travel between healthcare facilities and perform mobile imaging services.

- Compliance with applicable health and vaccination requirements. Candidates requesting a COVID-19 vaccination exemption must provide supporting documentation.

Important: Limited radiologic technologist licenses are not accepted.
