Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

Our organization is in search of a committed Clinical Psychologist to join our team, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits assessment process. In this role, you will utilize a secure web portal to review behavioral health records and perform thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.

• Perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Analyze and review electronic medical records through a secure web portal.
• Document examination findings accurately and complete necessary VA forms.

Important: This position does not include treatment or medication prescription. Disability decisions are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) , not by the psychologist.

• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Location: In-person role.
• Caseload: An average of 4 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

• A compassionate psychologist who is passionate about assisting the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate medical records and assessment data.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based systems.
• A professional and empathetic approach when engaging with Veterans.

• Possesses a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA Accredited program/school.
• Holds an active and unrestricted psychology license.
• Comfortable using technology for record review and documentation.
