Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: Yes Responsibilities Outpatient clinic schedule – variable work week Physician/APP panel sharing model Utilize nurse call center to assist with on‑call workload Collaborate with nurse coordinators to support high‑needs patients Use centralized prescription refill team Work with an interdisciplinary team and quickly access specialty services Document all patients in Epic EMR (Universal across Geisinger) Provide professional patient care and procedural services in a Family Medicine setting Qualifications Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine – required Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Pennsylvania Certification(s) and license(s) appropriate for Family Medicine Patient Care and Procedural Skills Professional Etiquette Systems‑Based Practice Benefits Competitive base salary starting at $320,000 Residency/Fellow stipend – up to $45,000 Recruitment incentives up to $250,000 15 working days for continuing medical education and $4,500 CME funds Fully paid relocation 401(k) – Geisinger annually contributes over $21,000 Paid time off, holidays, parental and military leave Academic involvement with medical students and residents Health insurance benefits for full‑time and part‑time positions (vision, dental, domestic partners) Equal Employment Opportunity Geisinger is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer.
