Cardiology Physician Assistant

Opportunity: Advanced Practice - Cardiology Job Details: Night shift coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Non-ICU work covering general cardiology floor patients Round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line Write daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, new consult notes, and discharge documentation Order medications, testing, and procedures when indicated Primarily work with step-down and cardiology unit patients Perform new consults with attending physicians Support staff includes Hospitalist Medicine and Cardiology teams, with Pulmonary Critical Care and Cardiovascular Surgery available as needed EMR system is Cerner Active NC License and active NC DEA required to be considered Facility: This cardiology-focused healthcare organization provides specialized cardiovascular care across a range of service lines.
