Retail Store Manager I Mobile

The Retail Store Manager I is responsible for managing all store operations including a team of sales and sales support employees with a focus on driving sales of Cox Services while ensuring maximum profitability through efficient operations. The role includes proactively monitoring store revenues, operational targets, customer satisfaction, inventory and shrink, as well as assessing local competitors, assortments, and pricing trends to keep the store competitively positioned. This is the perfect career opportunity for sales‑driven individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit. What You'll Do Hire, train, develop, and manage performance of store staff. Set performance goals and objectives for the team and individual employees. Facilitate weekly sales meetings to align staff with corporate initiatives, customer and product strategies. Manage against individual store revenue, operational, and customer satisfaction targets. Monitor shrink, conduct exception analysis, and take action. Assess local competitive assortment and pricing trends and report discrepancies to leadership. Create store labor plans based on corporate guidelines, seasonality, and predicted customer demand. Oversee daily cash handling and accounts payable. Partner with Corporate Cox to identify traffic trends and align inventory requirements. Oversee store and sales floor inventory to ensure alignment with corporate design strategy. Perform other duties as required. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate may also have a bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience, a master’s degree and 1 year, or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience. Preferred Requirements BA/BS in business or a related field. Retail management with supervisory experience highly preferred. Experience selling wireless/mobile products highly preferred. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation Base salary: $58,600.00 – $87,800.00 per year. The salary may vary based on location and experience. Additionally, the role is eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $15,312.00.
