Join our team today as we Redefine Ingenuity!SAIC is seeking a Data Targeter able to coordinate with mission partners to understand and prioritize data needs, interpret data visualizations and other analytic tools to understand current data holdings, identify and take action to pursue data sources to fulfill data requirements, and perform data evaluation to ensure quality, integrity, and suitability for ingestion into customer systems. The candidate will bring knowledge of data analytics along with development skills to create methodologies, tools, scripts, and analytics to automate and enhance analytical processes to bring additional insights to Targeters from large complex datasets. The position requires a creative thinker who is able to rapidly learn the principles of scientific and technical fields in order to apply them in novel ways to the Sponsor’s problem sets. The team receives diverse tasking which could include leveraging existing APIs to data sources, scraping website HTML files, building locally run Python/Flask applications, applying and training machine learning models, performing optical character recognition or object detection from images/video, and/or providing ETL support for local applications and solutions. The Data Targeter must be able to work both as a member of a team, and independently, under minimal supervision and direction.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Must have a current/active TS/SCI with PolygraphBachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience conducting technical targeting analysis -OR- 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degreeMinimum of 6 years’ experience working with Sponsor data types and toolsMinimum of 6 years’ experience conducting analysis of multiple sources of intelligenceExperience using open source data to perform analysisExperience working both independently and as part of a teamExperience in using data visualization toolsMinimum of 1 year experience using SQL or other querying languageMinimum of 6 years’ experience brokering requirements across organizationsJob Field: Information TechnologyTravel: No
