The itinerant position involves working across multiple schools, providing coverage and expertise where your guidance is most needed—two days per week. Qualifications:
• Active, current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting highly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Thorough understanding of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes
• Organizational skills to manage a multi-site schedule and caseload effectively
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and ongoing professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students referred for evaluation
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective strategies for student success
• Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary teams
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support as needed
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Travel among designated schools as scheduled each week (2 days/week)
