What you’ll bring to the role:

• Valid social work license appropriate for school settings
• Previous experience working as a social worker in educational or healthcare environments
• Strong understanding of the unique challenges and needs of high school students
• Outstanding communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate closely with educators, administrators, families, and community agencies

What you’ll do each day:

• Provide individual and group counseling to address students’ academic, social, and emotional concerns
• Develop and implement support plans, including crisis interventions and referrals when needed
• Partner with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to identify student needs and develop strategies for success
• Facilitate communication between school and families, acting as a liaison in support of student well-being
• Promote social-emotional learning and mental health awareness in the school community
• Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations
