Job Description As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Sturgis, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access‑control requirements, and emergency response activities within a healthcare‑related location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and promptly notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor records, and report unusual activity or policy violations to site leadership. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with personnel, visitors, and responding public‑service agencies. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
