Patient Financial Counselor

We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required . Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in healthcare administration or equivalent college coursework preferred. Job Requirements: 2 years of work experience with insurance verification, revenue cycle functions, hospital/physician offices, or related areas required . Knowledge of payer reimbursement processes and insurance terminology required. Basic understanding of procedure codes (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding, etc.) Must have the ability to maintain and respect confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines. Must be highly effective in working objectively with a diverse group of people and must demonstrate communication, organizational, adminstrative and time managerial skills.
