The Adobe Firefly ASML team is seeking Applied Scientists and Engineers passionate about building scalable generative AI data platforms, synthetic data pipelines, and evaluation systems for next-generation image and video models. This role focuses on developing metadata-driven taxonomies, data quality dashboards, and robust evaluation frameworks to improve dataset diversity, quality, and model performance. You will collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams to translate multimodal AI innovations into production-ready systems, directly impacting the quality, controllability, and reliability of Adobe’s generative AI experiences. Job Responsibilities Design and develop scalable synthetic data generation platforms and optimize image/video data pipelines for large-scale generative AI training. Build metadata-driven taxonomies, dashboards, and analytics tools to monitor dataset distribution, diversity, sample quality, and training readiness. Develop robust evaluation pipelines to assess data and model quality across accuracy, diversity, robustness, efficiency, and safety metrics. Collaborate with research scientists, engineers, and product teams to translate multimodal AI innovations into scalable production systems. Implement production-ready solutions using Python, PyTorch, and modern ML infrastructure to support generative AI workflows and continuous data quality improvement. What You'll Need to Succeed Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Experience building scalable ML infrastructure, synthetic data platforms, or multimodal image/video data pipelines. Strong knowledge of diffusion models, transformers, foundation models, and multimodal generative AI workflows. Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, data engineering, metadata management, dashboard development, and evaluation frameworks. Experience developing data quality, taxonomy, and visualization solutions for large-scale AI datasets. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional research, engineering, and product teams. Demonstrated ability to translate research into production systems; publications in AI/ML or Computer Vision are a plus. Expected Pay Range: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $120,700 -- $238,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $164,800 - $238,600 At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
