Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong understanding of a range of communication disorders affecting children and adolescents
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain compliance with IEP processes
• Passion for supporting students’ communication skills and academic growth

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students from PreK through 8th grade
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to implement interventions and promote generalization of skills
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet all state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team approach
• Stay updated on current practices and engage in professional development activities
