The ideal candidate will support our dentists in delivering high-quality care, ensuring patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring their comfort and addressing any questions or concerns.Assist the dentist during procedures, including handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clean field.Take and process dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures and treatment plans.Educate patients on post-procedure care, oral hygiene, and preventative dental practices.Monitor and restock supplies in treatment rooms and the practice as needed.Support front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and verifying patient insurance, when necessary.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Completion of a Dental Assistant program or relevant certification requiredCurrent radiology certification for the state of Ohio (required).Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and the dental team.Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Experience with dental software and modern technologies is a plus.What We OfferCompetitive pay.Comprehensive benefits package (for full-time employees), including health insurance, and paid time off.On-the-job training and continuing education support.A modern, well-equipped office with advanced dental technology.A collaborative and supportive team environment.Magnolia Dental is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
