Medical Records Technician

Position Summary The Medical Records Technician provides administrative support for medical records management and health administration. This is a non-clinical role focused strictly on processing, maintaining, and organizing medical documentation. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain electronic and physical medical records in compliance with administrative standards. Perform data entry, record updates, and non-clinical administrative tasks supporting health services. Organize patient files, process documentation requests, and assist with administrative record audits. Role Limitations & Compliance This is a strictly non-clinical, administrative support role. Candidates in this position are explicitly prohibited from performing duties that involve clinical evaluation, medical charting, case management, or direct patient counseling. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in medical records management or medical administration required.
