Sr. Program Planner II - Onsite

Location: US-TX-PLANO-465, 465 Independence Pkwy, Independence What You Will Do Understand the program technical and programmatic solution and partner with the program team to lead integration of that solution into the IMS baseline plan, ensuring cost, schedule and technical requirements are fully integrated into the execution plan. Lead creation and maintenance of compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) on requirements provided by the customer that achieve necessary cost and schedule integration. Lead and support the team to ensure program plan and IMS are developed consistent with IPDS and program life cycle; review IMS planned work for accuracy, identifying missing work or work planned improperly. Understand, create, use and recommend appropriate alternative/supplemental program management plans/artifacts (HUM, MPS, First Unit Flow) to help the program team understand and manage the plan. Conduct and explain Schedule Risk Analysis results to program teams, understand SRA concepts and theory, interpret results, integrate mitigation plans into the IMS, and schedule risks into the Risk Management process with the assistance of a Scheduled Risk Analysis SME. Provide weekly and monthly planning metrics on schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis and network logic validation, employing appropriate Earned Value Management System processes. Mentor and train junior planners. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 8 years of Program Planning or Scheduling or Project Management experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience. U.S. citizenship required for an active Top Secret security clearance, which must be held on day one. Prior experience using industry scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan or similar). Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and evaluating critical path and workflow. Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process. Qualifications We Prefer Bachelor’s degree in STEM. Ability to facilitate effective integration and maintenance in the IMS of technical, schedule and cost in an EVMS environment. Ability to understand and lead integration and modeling of program technical solutions into the IMS. Ability to interpret/analyze SRA results, program schedule risk/opportunity drivers and schedule probability of success. Collaboration with Planning and functional organization SMEs to support program teams. Understanding of hardware and software development life cycle, exposure to agile methodologies. Ability to manage/lead/teach and support proper scheduling and EVMS techniques for varied team sizes and backgrounds. Ability to ask right questions ensuring IMS integrity. Process improvement mindset and problem‑solving capability. What We Offer Salary range: $107,500 - $204,500 USD.
