Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:


Seeking a skilled RN for a Trauma Burn Intensive Care Unit to provide specialized patient care in a dynamic ICU environment. The role involves managing critically ill burn and trauma patients with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor advanced critical care treatments and procedures for ICU patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and responses accurately within the EMR system.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and coordinate with physicians during critical events.
• Perform wound care, manage EVDs, and participate in code situations.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in ICU, trauma, burn, or surgical critical care.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to high-pressure situations.
• Preferred: BSN and CCRN certification.
• Willingness to float to other ICU units such as MSICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU.
