Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs and create individualized treatment plans. \n
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes regularly as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team. \n
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring effective interventions for the benefit of children and adolescents. \n
- Develop strong rapport with clients and their families, fostering a trusting relationship essential for therapeutic success. \n
- Work collaboratively with families to craft targeted intervention strategies using evidence-based practices, enhancing the child's developmental journey. \n
- Utilize a coaching model and Natural Learning Environment Practices to promote learning and development in natural settings. \n
- Deliver both individual and group therapy services, adapting interventions based on the unique needs of each client. \n
Your role will primarily involve working with children and adolescents facing various emotional and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, depression, and difficulties related to substance abuse. You will provide therapeutic services to these individuals and their families, focusing on fostering resilience and adaptive coping strategies. Our evidence-based approach ensures that clients receive effective, personalized care designed to help them achieve their recovery goals.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required. \n
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California is essential. \n
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical or counseling setting is necessary. \n
- Current Associate or Licensed status with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, or candidacy for licensure, is preferred. \n
- Demonstrated strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a caseload. \n
- A self-motivated and proactive nature, particularly for tasks involving documentation and billing. \n
Experience working with a diverse population within an outpatient setting is highly valued. Familiarity with diagnosing and treating specific mental health disorders in children and adolescents, along with skills in developing family-centered treatment plans, will enhance your candidacy.
