We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects across the Greater Houston area. This individual will play a key role in managing job site safety, quality, subcontractor coordination, and overall project execution to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities for assigned commercial projects. Enforce project plans, schedules, and quality control standards in collaboration with Project Managers and subcontractors. Conduct daily site walks to monitor work progress, ensure OSHA compliance, and maintain a clean and organized site. Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and work sequences to optimize productivity and minimize delays. Serve as the primary site contact for subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors. Maintain daily logs, submit progress reports, and assist with project documentation. Identify and resolve field issues in real time, escalating as needed to project leadership. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role in commercial construction (e.g., retail, office, healthcare, light industrial). Proven ability to manage subcontractors and trades with a proactive, team-oriented approach. Strong working knowledge of construction safety practices, codes, and regulations. Proficiency in reading construction documents, blueprints, and schedules. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
