Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) / Coronary Care Unit (CCU). This vital role involves providing comprehensive, specialized nursing care to patients with complex cardiac and cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in critical care environments, possess strong clinical assessment skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Our team values professionalism, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to patient safety and recovery.

$2,552.40 for 36 hours | Alexandria LA

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/29/2026 or later

Pay for 36 hrs. (Traveler):

Weekly Gross: $2,552.40
Weekly Taxable: $1,292.00
Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,260.00
Hourly Taxable (up to 40 hours): $35.90
Overtime (after 40 hours): $53.85

Qualifications Required:

Minimum 2 years of recent experience
Active RN LA or Compact License
BLS, ACLS, - (AHA)
50 Miles Radius Rule

****Must have experience with:

Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps
Impellas
Post-op Cardiovascular surgeries
CRRT

Referral Bonus: Get $1000 for Each Referral!

Current LA RN license or current Compact state license BLS certification required from AHA ACLS certification required from AHA Type of patients on the unit: DKA, Acute Respiratory Failure, MIs, CABGs, Ventilators etc. It is a mixed cardiac and medical ICU.
