You will have an opportunity to participate in the entire software development lifecycle process in support of continuous data delivery, evolution and adoption, while growing your knowledge with emerging technologies. Responsibilities Participate in the entire software development lifecycle process in support of continuous data delivery, evolution and adoption. Use the latest data technologies, software engineering practices and Agile delivery framework to build well-architected and innovative solutions. Act as an accountable partner for domain-level data products from intake to adoption. Own domain understanding (Quote, Policy, Premium, Loss), define data product intent, scope and fitness for use, and traceability from business outcome to data to logic. Demonstrate deeper understanding of data analytics, emerging technologies and analysis practice. Collaborate with a high-performing, forward-focused team, product owner(s) and business stakeholder engagement. Operate in a fast-paced environment driving business outcomes using Agile principles. Support an environment that fosters a can-do attitude and opportunity for growth. Proactively manage end-to-end analysis delivery and execution. Certify analysis deliveries for development working within the Scrum team, ensuring optimal data quality output in conformance with agreed standards. Function as a liaison and consultant between various business functions (Operations, Underwriting, Product, Change Management, Actuarial and others) impacting organization and leadership. Structure and lead working and informational sessions that promote collaboration, synergy and achieve desired outcomes for assigned business initiatives. Clearly convey and receive information, requirements and specifications through verbal, written and presentation communication methods. Perform planning, monitoring and end-to-end business/IT stakeholder management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with at least six years of experience in business analysis or data analysis supporting data and analytics projects. Deep insurance domain fluency, translating regulatory, actuarial and product needs into data logic. Use GenAI for mapping, profiling, BRD acceleration and validate AI outputs with domain judgment (human-in-the-loop). Act as a data steward for Data Trust and Governance. Relevant educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics or Business. Prior data analysis experience with Big Data technologies and willingness or ability to adapt to future technologies. Experience in successful enablement of data delivery initiatives. Strategic thinking skills and ability to provide options and assess solutions, looking at the business holistically and supporting the future product (data asset) roadmap. Proactively pursue issue escalation and risk assessment when appropriate. Hybrid work schedule with expectation of working in an office three days a week. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position. Compensation Annualized base pay range: $80,000-$120,000 (actual base pay may vary based on performance, proficiency and demonstrated competencies). The base pay is one component of the Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives and on-the-spot recognition.
