From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.What you'll do:You'll be based out of our Pearland, TX service centerYou'll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends.Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power equipment of various sizes.Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop.You will either be on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shopYou are:High School diploma/GED or equivalent work history3+ years of experience working on diesel power/natural gas generators commercial HVAC, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairsExperience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage, along with reading and knowing schematicsAbility to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.Here's what you'll get:Full-time with potential for overtime and/or weekendsNo premium cost medical plan option available.Personal use vehicleAnnual bonus programRobust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and moreCareer growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available, safety-focused culture working on brand new technologyOther essential job requirementsAvailability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shiftsMust be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devicesMust be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead levelMust have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or laddersMust be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squatOur people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
