GIS Analyst, Sr.

The City of Glendale's Innovation & Technology department focuses on the delivery and operations of vital IT infrastructure, computer support, IT governance, project management, as well as support and maintenance of enterprise applications, data analytics, GIS services, and cybersecurity.

The GIS Analyst, Sr. assumes leadership in the design, development, maintenance and updating of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) web applications to include City of Glendale maps and GIS databases associated with those maps. Job duties consist of working with legacy databases to develop appropriate work products using GIS tools. This position works with City Leadership, staff from various departments and City organizations to determine respective GIS needs. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of GIS systems including data collection, analysis, web app configuration and delivery. This role has duties instructing, directing and checking the work of other GIS Analysts, Specialists, and Technicians.

This position is: FLSA Exempt, and will be paid a salary regardless of hours hours worked per week. A Grade 414 with an annual salary between $93,240.00 - $139,860.00

This position participates in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Contribution is mandatory, and deducted every pay period The current contribution rate is 11.98%
